Here’s my entry for Vivian Kirkfield’s #50PreciousWords contest:

BEAR’S RAINY DAY by C. Mackey

Bear delays. He dawdles. Rain. Hmmph.
Last spring, he woke to sunshine.
Yawning, he picks a crooked stick.
Dips in a puddle – ripples.
He scoops water.
Adds dirt.
Stirs.
“Mud pies for sale!”
Raccoons stop for treats.
Now soaked, Bear revels in rain.
He leaps…
SPLASH!
Maybe rain is okay.
