February the 17th is a day to highlight Canadian books and I’m proud to say I’ve interviewed a few Canadian authors for my blog in the past. Now is the time to spread the word about Canadian books and support our local authors and indie bookstores.
In Victoria, B.C. we are lucky to have Munro’s Books, Ivy Book Shop, Tanner’s Books, Bolen Books, Russel Books, and the UVic Bookstore.
Here’s a peek inside the Children’s Bookshop at Tanner’s Books in Sidney, B.C.

So look for a Canadian book and join the celebrations. Read Canadian on February 17th. Even better, visit your local indie bookstore! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’ll join me for more kid lit joy on Mondays with my Kid Lit Village blog series.
