Hello Readers! Pancake Day is February 16, 2021 and I’ve uploaded a read aloud video for you to enjoy! Katie Shaeffer, read by the author, (that’s me!) is a great book for your 3-8 year old, especially those who enjoy characters like Jillian Jiggs. And yes, those are my very dry hands in the video. I suffer from eczema and this pandemic is not good for my skin. Too much hand washing and sanitizer!
There’s enough time to order the book and get it in time to read to your class or your child/grandchild on pancake day. The pancake recipe is awesome and easy to make. Or…start collecting small soap, cereal, cracker or jello boxes and have your kids build their own pancake machine with boxes and tape!
