Hello Readers! I can’t believe we are here at the end of the summer and getting ready for fall. If you’ve been following for some time, you know I’ve done a sprinkling of picture book features and interviews prior to this year. But 2020 has been the year for Kid Lit Love to really get underway. I guess I was motivated by the pandemic and realizing how greatly this could impact books being able to get into the hands of young readers.

So I’ve been doing weekly posts since March. Here’s a look back at the amazing books featured this year on Kid Lit Love. I hope you’ll check them out and their authors/illustrators as well. Let’s keep doing our part to get books out to children while providing them with excellent material to really spark their love for reading!

Here’s the village of people who helped make the Kid Lit Love series this year. Congratulations on your books!

Thanks for being part of the Kid Lit Village. I’ve included links for where to find these lovely books. Most are available through Indiebound.

Coming Soon:

Middle Grade Novel: THE SUMMER OF L.U.C.K. by Laura Stegman

Picture Book: LATKES FOR SANTA by Janie Emaus

Picture Book: “SMELLY KELLY” and his SUPER SENSES by Beth Anderson

Picture Book: EVIE’S FIELD DAY by Claire Noland

Thanks to all who have participated in the series and supported the blog and fellow authors as well. It really does take a village. I’m back to work starting August 31st in a full time job with a brand new preschool program to manage. My plan is to keep up the blog so please get in touch early in advance if you’d like a feature for your upcoming picture book. Come back and discover new picture books any time!
